Opening ceremony for the park on Gauguin Street in Zakaki
Various activities will take place during the opening ceremony
On Sunday 12 May 2024, at 18:00, the Municipality of Lemesos will inaugurate the park on Gauguin Street in Zakaki.
During the opening ceremony, various activities will take place, allowing the public to get to know the park’s various infrastructures, which offer young and old the opportunity for recreation, relaxation, sports, social interaction and environmental education.
The construction of the park aims to create a pole of attraction and socialization for the very large residential area of Zakaki and is part of the Municipality’s wider strategy to upgrade the districts of Lemesos.
The project “Park on Gaugin Street – Design and construction of a public park in the Western Districts of Lemesos” is implemented under the Cohesion Policy programme “THALIA 2021-2027” with EU co-funding.
